AMPed Show #551
A lovely little track from the studio of Matt Kassel or April Maybe May Fame.
To mark the 3000th Daily Dose (it started in April 2008), we reposted the first one, by Austin Texas based The Black Angels. The band are still going strong, and have released five albums, four EPs and eight singles over the years. The Black Angels took their name from the Velvet Underground song “The Black Angel’s Death Song”.
Glasgow Scotland based five-piece SCHNARFF SCHNARFF have a forthcoming album The evil that we do…, out on 9th September 2016 via Black Dug Records. In it the band have drawn on influences ranging from metal to pop-punk and grunge to emo, skilfully constructing a sound that is undeniably their own.
AJC and The Envelope Pushers was established 2007 with an unwavering commitment to the art of genre jumping. Running the gamut from old school hip hop, pop and blues, The E-Pushers have easily set themselves apart from others by seamelessly fusing music and ultimately becoming genre-less.
This is the title track from the band’s debut album, released in April 2016.
