AMPed hosted this week by Stuart Morrison of Insomnia Radio

  1. Deep Sea Diver
Submited by Peter Clitheroe of Suffolk ‘n’ Cool

From the album Pondlife Fiasco (available on Jamendo) which was released way back in 2005 when records went round at 78rpm and were made of shellac. 😉
Heifervescent is essentially the solo project of Lancashire, UK based Andy Doran, writing, performing and producing each track.
Pondlife Fiasco features this track which is the most downloaded track on the ever-excellent Jamendo label. You can have the whole album for yourself at Jamendo

  2. Raiders of The New World
    Submited by Ro of DarkCompass

With their new album Wild Waves now out on Stormspell Records, and a new wind in their sails, this Italian bands flavour of Power Metal is a great crowd pleaser with great tracks for head banging and fist pumping.
Raiders of The New World has a video which is available to stream on their website.

  3. Nice Guy
    by Boys
Submited by Stuart Morrison of Insomnia Radio: UK

London dream pop outfit BOYS have announced the upcoming release of their first single Nice Guys, taken from their debut EP out later this summer.

BOYS’ Nice Guys is released on 17th August and will be available to purchase on iTunes and Spotify.

  4. King Sized Bed
Submited by Stuart Morrison of Insomnia Radio

Vancouver Canada based band THE RUNAWAY CLUB has just released the B Side from The Runaway Club album Apollo, a free download called King Sized Bed.

  5. Signals
Submited by Dave & Caroline of The Bugcast

Since The Upset Victory first emerged from Cincinnati, their uptempo, high energy brand of alt pop has resonated with a faithful following. The quintet show no signs of slowing down.

This track was taken from the band’s 2008 EP release “Between the Walls And The Worlds That Sleep”

Thankfully, the band are still going strong, with dates lined up in Newport, KY in July and Cincinnati, OH in August

  6. Submited by Stuart Morrison of Insomnia Radio

Los Angeles based The Blazing Rays Of The Sun just released their first record this year, and this is the single.

An absolute gem of a track this, which grows and develops into a beautiful crescendo.
