The mission of the Association of Music Podcasting is to support and further the efforts of music podcasts.This is done by:
- Promoting friendship and a working relationship with artists,
- Supporting independent artists,
- Supporting listeners to music podcasts through education and marketing,
- Offering mutual support of AMP members,
- Ensuring quality standards for AMP podcasts,
- Acting as a repository for information concerning music podcasts including: Technical information, Legal information about playing music on podcasts, Listing of artists and labels who offer their music to podcasts.
